Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats and incidents to ensure organizational cybersecurity. The role includes performing threat intelligence analysis, conducting cyber threat hunting, analyzing security data, and working closely with cybersecurity tools to identify vulnerabilities. The analyst will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop and implement security processes effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH) and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) processes
- Hands-on experience in Security Operations Center environments and knowledge of cybersecurity operations
- Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to solve complex security problems efficiently
- Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are highly advantageous
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in shifts to ensure round-the-clock security monitoring
- Able to work on 12 hours shift
