Within the Corporate Security team, the Security Operations Center (SOC) is responsible for identifying threats and protecting systems against cyber attacks. As a Security Specialist, you will take on multiple roles within the SOC and play a key part in maintaining a secure and reliable transaction environment.
You will contribute to the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of SOC processes, as well as broader security measures. In addition to core SOC responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to expand your expertise into areas such as vulnerability management, forensic analysis, penetration testing, and threat intelligence.
The SOC operates with modern cyber-security tools and encourages continuous improvement. As part of critical infrastructure, the team collaborates within national and sector-specific security communities and working groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and support the resolution of alerts and (complex) security incidents
- Develop, implement, and fine-tune detection rules across monitoring and SIEM tools based on compliance requirements and evolving threat landscapes
- Proactively research emerging threats, tools, and techniques to strengthen cyber-security capabilities
- Share knowledge across teams and contribute to raising security awareness within the organization
- Support organizational initiatives such as cloud transformations and product innovation from a security perspective
- Participate in change management processes, including assessing technical changes as part of a Change Advisory Board
