Head of Cyber Security Ops
Salary: up to £95,000 + bonus
Location: Bournemouth 2 days per week
We’re working with a leading organisation in the technology sector looking to appoint a Head of Cyber Security Operations to lead and evolve their security capability.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver a modern, resilient cyber security function.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and develop a Cyber Security Operations team
- Take ownership of incident detection, response, and recovery
- Drive SOC maturity improvements and tool optimisation
- Deliver security insights and risk reporting to senior stakeholders
- Partner with vendors, forensic teams, and internal stakeholders
- Support delivery of the security strategy and roadmap
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience leading SOC / Cyber Security Operations teams
- Strong background in incident response and threat management
- Experience with SIEM, monitoring, and detection engineering
- Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, GDPR
- Ability to operate at both technical and strategic levels
Salary & Benefits:
- £85,000 – £95,000 base salary
