Security Operations Manager
Dublin – Hybrid, 3 days onsite
The Security Operations Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and continual improvement of the Security Operations function, working with Regional Security Operations Managers (North America, Asia) in a follow‑the‑sun model
.
The role will include access control, application and development security, risk management, operational security, incident response, business continuity, operational and physical security of systems, as well as ongoing user awareness training and reporting requirement

- ks.Produce and report key security metrics (MTTD, MTTR, MTTC, false positives, automation coverage) to drive continuous improveme
- nt.Lead, coach, and develop SOC staff through performance management and development pla
- ns.Manage shift coverage, on-call rotations, and workload balancing in a global environme
- nt.Lead active threat hunting and support timely identification and remediation of threa
- ts.Recommend security improvements based on risk, trends, and business requiremen
- ts.Coordinate vulnerability remediation with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application tea
- ms.Support audits, control testing, evidence management, and remediation activiti
- es.Conduct security assessments across infrastructure, networks, endpoints, and security contro
- ls.Optimise security tooling and automate processes, developing automated workflows using S

Experi
- enceExperience in Security Operations, SOC, or Incident Response, including experience leading technical teams in a 24×7 or global environm
- ent.Proven experience across incident response, alert triage, threat hunting, DLP, and operational risk analy
- sis.Experience leading high-severity security incide
- nts.Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams while delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure and competing priorit
- ies.Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR platforms; KQL/SPL and PowerShell/Python prefer
- red.Strong understanding of ITSM, operational processes, and service deliv
- ery.Experience coordinating vulnerability remediation across Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams using data-driven report
- ing.Solid understanding of network infrastructure, security protocols, enterprise security architecture, and security technolog
- ies.Knowledge of security operations best practices, procedures, and contr
- ols.Relevant certifications such as SC-200, AZ-500, GCIA, GCIH, GCDA, CISSP, or CISM prefer
