We are seeking a Checkpoint Specialist for a client who can handle major lifecycle tasks. Specifically, this involves hardware replacement of devices, as well as OS updates and/or patches that must be scheduled and deployed regularly on the gateways
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Change planning and implementation of OS updates and patches on Checkpoint appliances
• Planning and replacement/exchange of Checkpoint appliances (primarily in cluster systems) as part of lifecycle management
• Communicating with affected teams during outages and involving key stakeholders in the planning process
• Operation and engineering of Checkpoint firewall environments
• Collaboration on projects related to the Checkpoint install base
Requirements:
• Several years of experience in the operation/engineering of Checkpoint firewalls, including their hardware and software lifecycles
• Experience in the energy sector, particularly in environments with complex architectures and zone concepts
• ITIL certification or demonstrable experience with ITIL processes
Languages:
• Fluent German (C1 / C2 level)
