Security Project Manager Jobs in European Union at Planet Pharma
Title: Security Project Manager
Company: Planet Pharma
Location: European Union
Security Project Coordinator (Cyber Security Operations)
Location: Remote with Occasional Travel to Western Europe
Experience: 3+ years (we're also interested in more experienced candidates with 5-10+ years)
Sector: Cyber Security | IT | Project Management
Are you an organised, proactive Project Coordinator or Project Manager with experience delivering technical or cybersecurity projects? Do you enjoy bringing structure to complex environments and working with diverse stakeholders to keep critical initiatives moving?
We're looking for a Security Project Coordinator to support a portfolio of Security Operations and Incident Response projects within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What you'll be working on:
You'll coordinate multiple cybersecurity initiatives from planning through to delivery, including projects such as:
- Implementing new security software and tooling
- Supporting Microsoft Defender migration projects
- Rolling out network management platforms integrated with the Security Operations Centre (SOC)
- Coordinating incident response and security operations initiatives
- Supporting broader security projects across Vulnerability Management, Application Security and Compliance
This is far more than a traditional PMO role. You'll need to understand technical discussions well enough to ask the right questions, identify delivery risks, translate technical concepts into clear actions, and keep projects on track.
What you'll do
- Coordinate cybersecurity projects from initiation through to completion
- Manage project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, decision logs and status reporting
- Drive governance meetings, follow up on actions and manage dependencies
- Identify risks, blockers and delivery issues early, escalating where required
- Work closely with Security, IT, Engineering, vendors, business stakeholders and the PMO
- Help translate technical work into practical project deliverables and timelines
- Provide clear reporting and executive summaries for leadership
What we're looking for
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Someone who is proactive, organised and able to bring people together
- Comfortable working in evolving, less structured organisations where priorities can change
- Experience coordinating multiple concurrent technical projects
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall approaches
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or similar project tools
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint)
Nice to have
- Experience within Cyber Security, Security Operations, Incident Response or IT Infrastructure
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2 or GDPR
- Experience within Pharma, Life Sciences, Financial Services or another regulated industry
If you're someone who enjoys bringing order to complex technical programmes and wants to play a key role in delivering meaningful cybersecurity initiatives, we'd love to hear from you.
