Role Overview
The Security Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of quality, safety, and security processes. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements while contributing to a safe and secure environment for drivers, customers, and company assets.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control
- Support the implementation of quality control frameworks to maintain service and operational standards.
- Monitor daily operations and identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Track KPIs and quality metrics; support corrective action follow-ups.
Safety & Security Management
- Monitor safety and security conditions for drivers, customers, and company assets.
- Support the execution of safety, security, and emergency response procedures.
- Assist in handling traffic safety incidents and escalate complex cases when needed.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure driver compliance with safety regulations and operational policies.
- Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints and safety-related incidents.
- Assist in identifying risks and recommending mitigation measures.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with Operations and other internal teams to ensure effective implementation of safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders (e.g., local authorities) when required.
- Prepare reports and provide insights on quality, safety, and security performance.
Key Requirements
- Background in corporate security, law enforcement or other security-related fields are a plus.
- Security guards looking to expand into a safety and security specialist role would also be considered.
- Experience in logistics, mobility, taxi, or similar industries would be a benefit but are not a requirement.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and operational procedures.
- Experience in incident handling, safety coordination, or compliance-related tasks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and risk awareness.
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in English (and local language if required).
