What this job involves: We are seeking a vigilant, professional, and service-oriented Security Supervisor to join the campus operations team at our international school. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, parents, and visitors. This position reports to the Facilities Officer / Facilities Manager and supports the overall security and facility management functions across the school campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily security operations across the school campus, including monitoring of access control systems, CCTV, and other security technologies.
Manage the Security Control Room and ensure 24/7 operational readiness of all security and building management systems.
Conduct regular patrols of the campus (including buildings, grounds, and perimeter) to identify and address safety or security concerns.
Oversee visitor management protocols, including registration, verification, and escorting as required—particularly at main entrances and loading bays.
Assist in coordinating with outsourced security and facilities vendors to ensure compliance with school standards and contractual obligations.
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, implement established contingency plans, and escalate issues as appropriate.
Support school events by managing crowd control, access points, and on-site security logistics.
Monitor contractor activities (e.g., work at height) to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records including occurrence logs, incident reports, daily inspection checklists, and job orders.
Conduct surprise spot checks and lead briefings for security personnel to reinforce procedures and accountability.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Management team to support overall campus operations.
(Where applicable) Support health screening measures such as temperature checks in alignment with current public health guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid Security Personnel Permit and completion of QAS (Qualifying Assessment Scheme) training certificate
Proven experience in security services, preferably within an educational institution, or premium residential/ commercial property.
Good Command of in English & Chinese (including Cantonese)
Demonstrated ability to work independently with sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism.
Good customer service awareness
