Service & Planned Preventive Maintenance Technician, based in Frankfurt, Germany, with high basic and benefits. Working within financial services office environments. Experience required for servicing enterprise access control and CCTV/VMS systems.
We are recruiting a Service & Planned Preventive Maintenance Technician, a customer-facing engineering role responsible for maintaining and servicing electronic security systems. The position focuses on delivering high-quality reactive fault-finding and repair visits, completing PPM to prevent future issues, and communicating effectively with customers, site teams, and internal departments to coordinate work and uphold company technical standards.
The Role
- Attend scheduled reactive service calls and PPM visits; aim to resolve issues on the first visit where possible.
- Coordinate with the service coordinator and other teams (including IT, Security, H&S, and facilities) and provide remote/peer technical support as needed.
- Support the Projects department with installation/minor commissioning when required and during quieter service periods.
The Person
- Customer service and communication skills, good Microsoft Office knowledge and networking fundamentals.
- Experience typically includes 5+ years of experience servicing enterprise access control and CCTV/VMS systems (and extensive time in the electronic security industry).
- A valid driving licence and the right to work.
- Manufacturer certifications across a significant proportion of relevant systems are essential; ECS/VCA/SafePass, IPAF, are desirable.
