Position Overview
Location: Hanoi, Vietnam (Hybrid)
We are seeking a deeply technical, hands-on Security Engineering Lead to act as our primary "boots-on-the-ground" technical operator, owning the daily, hands-on defense and hardening of our core systems.
From Day 1, you will be expected to absorb our current infrastructure monitoring configurations, take ownership of our DevSecOps pipelines, and act as the primary technical bridge coordinating directly with the Binance security team. You will focus your brilliance on deep technical infrastructure security (Web2 architecture and Web3 environments), eliminating vulnerabilities before they reach production, and technically mentoring our SecOps & Incident Response Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- DevSecOps & Cloud Architecture: Design, build, and maintain robust security pipelines across our cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), CI/CD workflows, and internal corporate networks. Ensure a "secure-by-default" engineering environment.
- Ecosystem Integration & Defense: Act as the primary technical point of contact with the Binance security team. Seamlessly integrate our defense mechanisms, share threat intelligence, and align our technical posture with ecosystem standards.
- Vulnerability & Threat Management: Perform continuous threat modeling, deep architectural design reviews, source code reviews, and dependency analysis to eliminate security single-points-of-failure (SPOFs) in both our Web2 and Web3 (digital asset) infrastructure.
- Technical Escalation & Mentorship: Serve as the Tier-3 technical escalation point for our SecOps & Incident Response Specialist. Guide them through complex threat hunting, log triage, and active DDoS mitigation. Participate in an on-call escalation rotation to ensure high availability and rapid response during critical security incidents.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of senior-level, hands-on experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or DevSecOps within high-growth SaaS, FinTech, or Web3 environments.
- The Builder's Mindset: You are an operator who prefers diving into AWS configurations and CI/CD pipelines over writing corporate governance paperwork. You know how to build automation that engineers actually want to use.
- Technical Stack:
- Deep, practical expertise in Web2 cloud infrastructure security (AWS/GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Zero-Trust network topology.
- Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
- Languages: Fluency in Vietnamese and Professional English proficiency (crucial for aligning with international ecosystem partners).
- (Optional) Web3 Security Knowledge: Practical experience securing Web3 infrastructure (e.g., safeguarding private key custody, multi-sig wallet architectures, and API security for high-volume crypto transactions). Ability to conduct basic smart contract code reviews is a strong plus.
