Role Description
The Senior Manager, Information Security will oversee the organization's information security strategy, ensuring that systems, networks, and sensitive data are protected from breaches and cyber threats. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing security policies, conducting regular risk assessments, managing compliance with regulatory standards, overseeing incident response processes, and collaborating with IT and business leaders to ensure effective security practices. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Minneapolis, MN.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing security policies, procedures, and risk management strategies.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools, technologies, and frameworks such as firewalls, SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability assessment techniques.
- Experience in compliance and regulatory standards such as GDPR, CCPA, SOX, NIST, or ISO27001.
- Proven ability to lead and manage information security teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strong incident response, forensic investigation, and security threat monitoring skills.
- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly preferred.
- Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry is an advantage.
