We are looking for a Senior OT Security Consultant to support our growing industrial cybersecurity team.
This role is suited for someone who understands cybersecurity in operational technology environments and can work with clients across industrial systems, ICS/SCADA, engineering teams, IT teams, and management stakeholders.
You will take a leading role in assessing OT security risks, improving cybersecurity measures, and supporting the implementation of practical controls for industrial environments.
What you will work on
You will be involved in client projects focused on operational technology security, industrial systems, and cybersecurity improvement across critical environments.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading security assessments and audits of OT environments
- Identifying cybersecurity risks in industrial systems and recommending practical mitigation strategies
- Supporting the development and implementation of OT security controls
- Working with standards and regulatory requirements such as IEC 62443, the EU Cyber Resilience Act, and the EU Machinery Regulation
- Collaborating with client engineering and IT teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices into industrial systems and processes
- Leading or supporting threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, security design activities, and incident response exercises
- Helping clients improve the security posture of ICS/SCADA and other OT environments
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with:
- At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, industrial systems, or a closely related field
- Familiarity with OT environments, industrial protocols, or SCADA systems
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management frameworks
- Ability to assess technical risks and translate them into clear, practical recommendations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent English
Bonus points if you have
- A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience or strong interest in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, petrochemical, utilities, or other industrial environments
- Experience with IEC 62443, OT security assessments, or industrial cybersecurity projects
- Experience working directly with client teams in a consulting environment
- Fluent German
