Senior Security Manager or Campus Security Manager, as we call it internally offers the opportunity to own the data centre security operations, set the standard for excellence, and make a lasting global impact as a strategic leader.
About our team
We are a dynamic, dedicated team that provides management and support for a global guarding services account that spans across 30+ countries. Our client is an industry-leading datacenter organisation, and we pride ourselves in delivering best-in-class solutions through our teams made up of Security Operations, Shared Services, Threat and Incident Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Human Resources. As part of this team, you’ll work alongside a group of professionals that are committed to excellence and innovation.
Package: Annual Wage Range: JPY 12,000,000 – 15,500,000 base salary
About the role
This is a senior leadership role where you’ll manage site security personnel, ensure world-class safety standards, and partner with other senior leadership across the APAC region to deliver operational excellence. You’ll play a vital role in safeguarding people, assets, and infrastructure, while developing and mentoring a high-performing security team.
What you’ll do:
- Lead day-to-day security operations across multiple critical infrastructure sites.
- Manage and develop a team of security managers and officers, ensuring respect, professionalism, and growth.
- Drive safety initiatives with a goal of zero workplace injuries.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of security staff.
- Deliver and track key performance outcomes, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
- Act as a trusted partner to clients and stakeholders, building strong working relationships.
- Provide leadership during audits, assessments, and emergency situations.
- Split time between sites, staying hands-on and deeply engaged with your teams.
What we’re looking for:
- You must have at least 5+ years in management.
- Strong leadership skills and experience coaching diverse teams.
- Excellent communication in both English and Japanese.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 10%).
- Comfortable working evenings or weekends if required.
