Looking to join one of Australia’s most integral federal government departments? This department helps to make life of all Australians safer and is looking for a Service Transition Lead.
Working in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney office, you will lead readiness planning, coordinate across technical and operational teams, and ensure smooth cutover and handover.
Aside from the above you will be responsible for
- Plan and manage operational readiness and transition activities.
- Lead trials, rehearsals, and validation to ensure workforce and system readiness.
- Coordinate stakeholders, teams, and external vendors to deliver on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with safety, risk, and regulatory requirements.
- Operational integrity across, systems regulatory environments and operations
- Ensuring day one operational readiness
This organisation is integral to Australian safety and critical infrastructure. So, we are keen to speak with people who:
- Proven experience leading system transitions in safety-critical industries.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Experience with operational readiness planning, system integration, and change management.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in engineering, systems, or operations.
- Australian citizenship with the ability to get a security clearance
On offer to the successful candidate will be a contract role with a duration of 2 years rates based on your experience around $1100 per day. There is the option to work in the Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney office based on your location.
