SOC Analyst | Southern Israel | 24/7 Shifts
Mertens MalamTeam is hiring a SOC Analyst for a leading defense organization in Southern Israel
Key Responsibilities
Provide first line support for the cyber hotline responding to phishing attacks account compromises and other cybersecurity incidents
Assist individuals experiencing cyber related incidents and provide initial guidance and technical support
Identify assess and escalate security incidents according to established procedures
Work closely with cybersecurity teams to support the protection of the civilian cyber environment
Operate in a fast paced Security Operations Center environment with 24/7 shift coverage
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in technical support or Help Desk
Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts is required
Knowledge of the OSI seven layer networking model
Familiarity with common cyber threats attack techniques and defense mechanisms
Availability to work 24/7 shifts
