What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, logs, and alerts to detect potential security threats
- Utilize advanced security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, etc.) to investigate incidents
- Triage security events, assess severity, and escalate as needed
- Respond to client inquiries and provide technical support with a customer-first mindset
- Document findings, incidents, and remediation steps clearly and accurately
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT (internships count!)
- Familiarity with security technologies: firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, SIEM
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (HTTP, SSH, SMB, LDAP, FTP)
- Exposure to Windows and Linux environments
