Role Overview

We are currently looking for Software Quality Assurance Specialist who will support the Quality Expert in executing testing activities across both systems. This person focuses on the day-to-day execution of test cases, defect tracking, and regression testing ensuring every development release is tested thoroughly and all defects are documented and tracked to closure. This role works closely with developers and under the direction of the Quality Expert to maintain test suites and produce test documentation for every release cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute functional, regression, and integration test cases for all releases of both systems under the direction

of the Quality Expert

  • Design and maintain test cases for new and modified features based on approved functional specifications
  • Log, track, and verify all defects through the full defect lifecycle using the agreed tracking tool
  • Support UAT preparation help write test scenarios in Arabic and assist client end users during UAT sessions
  • Maintain and update regression test suites after each release cycle to reflect system changes
  • Perform API testing for new and modified back-end endpoints
  • Contribute to QA reports and test evidence documentation in Arabic for each release
  • Perform mobile app testing on Android and iOS for the correspondence system mobile application

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluent Arabic Speaker is a Must.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 4 – 5 years of professional software testing experience
  • Practical experience with functional and regression testing of web applications
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent)
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments

Required Technical Skills

  • Functional test design test case design from functional specifications; equivalence partitioning and

boundary value analysis

  • Regression testing building and maintaining regression suites for .NET web applications across multiple

release cycles

  • Defect tracking Azure DevOps Boards, Jira, or equivalent; defect classification, reproduction steps,

severity/priority, and closure verification

  • API testing Postman or SoapUI for REST API functional and regression testing
  • Test documentation writing test plans, test cases, and defect reports in formal Arabic
  • Mobile app testing functional and compatibility testing on Android and iOS
  • Performance testing basics ability to support load test execution using JMeter or Gatling under the

Quality Expert's direction

  • Test automation awareness Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress (beneficial; not mandatory at hire)

Key Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented and thorough meticulous in test execution; documents every step and every finding
  • Clear written communication in Arabic test cases, defect reports, and UAT documentation must be

precise and auditable

  • Collaborative with developers raises defects constructively and follows through diligently until verified

closure

  • Works effectively under direction executes the Quality Expert's testing strategy independently on a day-

to-day basis

  • Growth mindset expected to develop security and performance testing skills progressively throughout the

contract
