Specialist Manager, Physical Security
Work you'll do
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The Incumbent coordinates with the security vendor for selection, training and supervision of the guard force deployed at Deloitte to perform day-to-day security activities.
- Working as first level of escalation for any security related complaint from internal customers and performing primary investigation.
- Planning and coordination for site level evacuation exercises and surprise checks. Organize floor warden trainings.
- Conduct internal audits for security processes and security vulnerability tests from time to time.
- Conduct security briefing for prospective clients/existing clients on the security controls and process.
- Will be the primary contact to respond to any emergency reported through call center or Talent Relations.
- Validate every security operation to make sure the compliance is followed per Deloitte policies.
- Review and periodic audit of records generated by security department.
- Drive security vendor to comply statutory audits and track performance regularly through dash boards.
- Liaise with the Developer security teams to maintain smooth security operations.
- Liaise with external forums to knowledge and best practices sharing on behalf of Deloitte, represent Deloitte at various security related forums.
- Coordinate for internal audits for security processes and security vulnerability tests from time to time.
- Liaise with Govt authorities on local level and monitor and update the Zonal Security Officer/Regional Security Officer about any unrest/crisis/calamity in the city for quick implementation of BCP.
- Conduct security briefing for contractors / Visitors and clients.
- Will be the primary contact to respond to any travel emergency for USI professionals in Pune location.
The team
The Security team works behind the scenes to protect Deloitte practitioners as well as information assets at Deloitte. We take this protective role very seriously, while simultaneously ensuring Deloitte meets client, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Location: Pune
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate/PG in any degree.
- Industry Security certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 + Years of progressively responsible work in security management.
- Basic IT skills with a working knowledge of the range of MS Office packages.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills: Knowledge of Power BI, SharePoint, Excel will be an added advantage.
Competence:
- Strong management skills with excellent communication, negotiating and engagement skills.
- Knowledge of emergency response planning & execution, crisis management, disaster recovery operations and business continuity. Ability to assess risk and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with people of all levels.
- Ability to analyze/interpret difficult situations and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
