Join Sport Chek as a Store Loss Prevention Lead, ensuring a safe shopping environment for customers and employees. Your leadership will play a crucial role in reducing shrinkage and enhancing safety practices.
This position is accountable to the Store General Manager and places emphasis on proactive loss prevention during high-risk hours. You will monitor customer interactions, maintain security measures on valuable items, and provide guidance to associates on acknowledging and preventing losses effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the execution of the LP Program in-store
• Secure high-value products with appropriate tagging
• Maintain a visible loss prevention presence
• Record incidents and communicate with regional managers
• Coach staff on loss prevention protocols
Requirements:
• Previous retail experience (6+ months) beneficial
• Experience as a Loss Prevention Officer (1+ year)
• Competence in training and staff development
• Able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
• High School Diploma or equivalent
