Position: Store Loss Prevention Lead, WEM )
Responsibilities
- Lead the store’s loss prevention program, acting as a presence on the sales floor and in departments during high‑risk hours.
- Ensure customers are acknowledged throughout the store and maintain a visible loss prevention presence.
- Secure products by following LP tagging standards and keeping high‑value items locked.
- Log incidents as necessary and liaison with the Regional Loss Prevention Manager to share information.
- Coach associates on acknowledgment responsibilities and current LP hotspots.
Qualifications
- 6+ months of retail experience (preferred).
- 12+ months as a Loss Prevention Officer or In‑store Security (preferred).
- Experience training and mentoring employees.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50lbs.
- Computer literacy (asset).
- Passion for activity and a drive to inspire others.
Education & Certifications
- High School Diploma.
- Provincially valid Security Guard or Investigator License (asset).
- Valid CPR & First Aid training required; may be completed during employment.
Training & Development
- Paid industry training, opportunities for growth and advancement, bonus structure.
- Possible cost coverage of SGL training, depending on experience level.
Compensation
Competitive pay in the range of 20.00 to 25.00 per hour; wage decisions also depend on experience, store size, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity, and role‑specific requirements.
