About the Role
Cybernet invites motivated individuals to join our Managed Services team as TAC Engineer Level-1 and contribute to delivering exceptional technical support to our valued clients.
Responsibilities
- Address diverse technical queries from corporate clients, providing timely and effective support.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Expedite complaint resolutions within committed timelines to meet service level agreements.
- Troubleshoot network issues related to Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) such as routers and switches.
- Respond to inquiries about internet access technologies, including DSL, VSAT, Fiber, WiMAX, GPON, and RF.
- Log and manage incident resolution tickets in the system, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone and email, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Diagnose and resolve internet and data connectivity issues associated with various technologies, including GPON, RF P2P, P2MP, Metro Fiber, Dark Core, 3G/4G LTE, and email services.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Network Operations, Engineering, and Fiber Optics to escalate and resolve technical and last-mile issues.
- Document support interactions, including resolution steps and customer feedback, within the ticketing system.
- Monitor network performance proactively to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact customers.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Networking, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from a reputable institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
- CCNA training or certification is preferred.
- Fresh graduates or individuals with 1-2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of OSI Layers, TCP/IP protocols, and fundamentals of switching and routing.
- Proficiency in Linux and VM environments is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of network security principles and practices.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Flexibility to work in an 8-hour rotational shift schedule.
