Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts utilizing SIEM and SOAR platforms.
- Lead proactive threat hunting initiatives to detect and mitigate emerging threats.
- Manage and coordinate the incident response lifecycle, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
- Conduct digital forensic investigations to support incident analysis and determine root causes.
- Oversee patch management processes and ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security solutions across the enterprise.
- Perform system hardening and enforce security best practices in accordance with organizational policies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards detailing security metrics, incident trends, and compliance status.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to continuously enhance SOC capabilities.
Competencies:
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar)
- Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms
- Threat hunting and detection
- Incident management and response
- Digital forensics and investigation
- Patch and vulnerability management
- Endpoint protection and hardening
- System security configuration and compliance
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, attack vectors, and incident response methodologies.
- Professional certifications such as CEH, CHFI, Security+, or CISM are highly desirable.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience
