On behalf of our client we are currently seeking a Security Project Manager (Freelance)
- Customer: our client is a leading multinational consultancy firm
- Location: remote in Italy, occasional travel to Milan (approximately once a month)
- Duration: 6 months + likely extensions
- Expected Skill Set: Technical Security Project Management with expertise in managing Technical Security projects (minimum 2-3 years), responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of security projects. Day-to-day activities will include coordinating with cross-functional and technical teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful project outcomes. Key responsibilities/skills required:
– Manage end-to-end Security Projects: plans, scope, budget, stakeholder, issue/risk to ensure successful project delivery ensuring compliance with the security best practices and standards.
– Coordinate Technical/Functional Teams during the delivery phase to ensure delivery in time with project deadline expectations
– Collaborate with cross-technical and functional teams to identify project tasks, risks and develop mitigation strategies
– Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
– Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members
– Ability to manage and interact with technical lead and technical teams
– Good knowledge of security matter and experience in managing security projects
– Solid technical security background such as Application Security (API Security), Identity Management (IAM/CIAM/PAM), Cloud Security, Network Security, Infrastructure Security (FW, WAF, Antivirus, EDR, DLP….)
– Knowledge of main Security regulations with focus on Finance sector (PCI-DSS, DORA, GDPR…)
– Fluent English and Italian is mandatory (Interview in English)
– Is required a good capability of organization, flexibility and to work under pressure
