Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for an Unarmed Security Officer, located in Kansas City, KS. Responsibilities include patrolling designated areas, monitoring access points, ensuring safety compliance, responding to emergencies, and maintaining detailed incident reports. The Unarmed Security Officer will interact professionally with clients, employees, and visitors, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment. Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with clients, employees, and the public
- Observation, situational awareness, and ability to identify and address security threats
- Knowledge of safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and reporting
- Ability to remain vigilant and calm in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of patrolling and standing for extended periods
- Valid security officer certification/license as required in Kansas
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Preferred: Previous security experience, military, or law enforcement background
