The Analyst – Security Risk Management (SRM) is an entry-level role that supports senior consultants in delivering security risk assessments, technical documentation, and client projects. This position is hands-on and execution-focused, providing exposure to a wide range of physical security, operational resilience, and risk management activities.
This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, enjoy solving practical problems, and are interested in developing expertise across the full spectrum of security consulting—from research and regulatory analysis to site assessments and physical security design.
What does this role do?
- Support consultants in preparing reports, assessments, presentations, and workshop materials.
- Assist with security risk assessments, technical documentation, and physical security design.
- Conduct research on security regulations, standards, and emerging risks.
- Coordinate project information, analyze data, and support client deliverables.
- Work with site layouts, drawings, and security planning tools.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Consultant or the SRM Dept Head with security consultancy projects, including Security Risk Assessment, Security Design, Security Management Plan, Security Audit, Physical Security, and any projects related to the SRM service line.
- Support SRM service line products, for example, Emergency Response Team Service (ERT) tasks – ensure service delivery, and maintain a capability to match contracted service commitments under the Consultant or the SRM Dept Head direction.
- Conduct Research & Development on the SRM service line and industry update as directed by the Consultant or the SRM Dept Head.
- Assist in producing initial drafts of security reports, technical reports, and meeting minutes using established company templates.
Operations
- Project and service delivery under the Consultant or the SRM Dept Head direction.
- Produce reports in accordance with existing templates and standards.
- Deploy to the field for periods of time to execute tasks.
- Assist the consultant in conducting Security Risk Assessments of client assets, in accordance with (e.g. ISO 31000 Risk Management principles).
- Support the Consultant in preparing and compiling data or documents needed in the consultancy project.
- Support other service lines in collaboration as required.
- Other tasks as required by management/the company.
Administration
- Support and, where necessary, provide data required for group and client reporting.
- Assist in scheduling SRM work activities with the admin.
Qualifications
The job holder should hold most of those competencies listed below, though applicants with some gaps may also be considered:
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) from a reputable university, preferably majoring in International Relations, Criminology, Law, Political Science, Architecture or Business Administration.
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply. Prior internship experience in corporate security, risk consulting, research, or operations is a strong advantage.
- Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to gather data, analyse security trends, and synthesise complex information (like local regulations or open-source intelligence) into clear summaries.
- A proactive individual with solid organisational skills, self-starter qualities, and a team player.
- Full professional fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and verbal). The role requires drafting high-quality reports in English and communicating with local field teams/authorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). You should be comfortable building clean presentations and tracking data in spreadsheets.
Preferred Candidate
- A basic familiarity or interest in risk management principles (like ISO 31000) or business continuity (ISO 22301) is a major plus, but on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with local Indonesian security frameworks (e.g., familiar with basic Perpol / police regulations). And international security standards.
- Familiarity with, or a strong willingness to learn, engineering and design software such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu for reviewing site plans, architectural blueprints, and plotting physical security designs (e.g., mapping out CCTV cameras, access control points, and perimeter fencing).
Workdays and Working hours
- In accordance with the law, the regular workweek for the Contractor consists of five (5) workdays, and the role would be required to follow such practice.
- The working arrangement for the Contractor is hybrid, with four (4) days of Work from Office (WFO) and one (1) day of Work from Anywhere (WFA) every week.
- Normal working hours are eight (8) hours per day, or forty (40) hours per week, excluding a one-hour meal break each day.
- To meet client requirements, no additional charges will be applied to the Contractor for extra working hours, but in lieu of days will be applicable. Any additional hours/days will be informed prior to the task and agreed upon by both parties.
