Key Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE & SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capable to promote an organization culture that fosters security & vigilance practices through effective leadership.
- Provide regulatory information, orders, instructions & circulars regarding security & vigilance issues within organization.
- Acts as an information conduit to bring security & vigilance issue to the attention of Manager Security & Vigilance. Deliver security & vigilance information to the organization’s staff, contractors and stakeholders.
- Builds and maintains an excellent working relationship within the organization and distribute the security & vigilance related information to the staff.
- Follow up all operational incidents.
- Liaise with external agencies to obtain latest information.
- Analyze and report internal risk factors.
- Stay abreast of latest developments in the market, place and provide action plans.
- Prepare duty roster and assign resources.
- Periodically conduct check/audits and initiate action.
- Provide inputs in respect of security & vigilance services issue and initiate actions.
- Provide input into the recruitment process.
- Analyze and identify weak spots where fraud/theft & pilferages could take place and recommend preventive measures and follow up.
- Investigate and conclude all cases of fraud/theft & pilferages.
- Officiate as Manages Security & Vigilance in his absences.
- Provides reports of incident in the Company to the Management.
- Responsible and accountable for overall quality, safety and security of operations.
- You will be responsible and accountable to make necessary operational decisions related to safety and security matters at all times whilst on duty.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors/Master’s Degree or equivalent from recognized university
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- 5-6 years of experience in civil aviation security & vigilance.
- Have demonstrated ability in preparing security & vigilance report/investigation reports.
- Have the appropriate skill set to set and manage priorities,
- Excellent command over written and spoken English with ability to document operational business case scenarios, develop process flow documentation.
