We are seeking a Health, Safety, Security and Environment Officer (HSSE Officer) for our head office here in Manila. Key Responsibilities
- Internal and External Compliance
- Health, Safety, and Security Plans
- Environmental Management
- Performance Monitoring and Administration
- Ensures that all related government permits/accreditations are valid, and all reportorial requirements are submitted promptly to the concerned government agency
- Responsible to conducts Fire and Earthquake drill at least once a year as required
- Responsible in monitoring safety performance of the following external providers: a) Pest Control provider; b) Security personnel; c) CCTV service provider
- Submits monthly accomplishment report, annual program and proposed budget for approval of Building Facility Manager
- Responsible for the review of billing statement/invoices from the service providers such security agency, pest control, CCTV, haulers for approval of the Building Facility Manager
- Materials requisition of projects, renovations, movements materials as required
- Responsible for disposal of waste, poor condition furnishing and other related construction materials and debris with the coordination to the purchasing section
- Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the Building Facility Manager
- Responsible to approved general work permit and notice to proceed prior to work commence of the contractors, service provider and supplier in the whole complex
- Ensures proper storage of chemicals with proper labels and disposal to the accredited hauler regularly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science and/or its equivalent
- Relevant experience in the same capacity preferably in a multi-national company with minimum work experience of 3 years
- Good in planning and organizational skills
- Good in verbal and written communication
- Good in time management and presentation skills
- Can work with less supervision and team player
- Flexible and with keen eye for details
- Communicates effectively at all levels in the organization
- Familiar with AUTOCAD drafting.
