We are looking for a vigilant and analytical Junior Security Analyst to help monitor, identify, and respond to security threats in a remote setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for suspicious activity
- Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents
- Support vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing activities
- Help maintain security tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems
- Document security incidents, findings, and remediation steps
- Assist in ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to strengthen overall security posture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field; freshers are welcome to apply
- 0–4 years of experience in security operations or a related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and security protocols
- Familiarity with common security threats and vulnerability types
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information in a remote setup
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar)
- Basic certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent) are a plus
- Familiarity with scripting for security automation (Python, PowerShell)
