Job Description
Client is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join its Data Engineering team and help deliver scalable, governed, and business-aligned data products across the enterprise. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, analysts, data scientists, and technology teams to translate requirements into robust data pipelines and analytics-ready solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
Solid data engineering fundamentals
SQL and Python development
Snowflake and dbt experience
Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements and define analytics needs.
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations.
Develop data products supporting reporting, analytics, and data science initiatives.
Build and optimize solutions using SQL, Python, dbt, and Snowflake.
Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, security, and analytics teams to deploy production solutions.
Support data governance, data quality, and access controls.
Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize data delivery processes.
Convert recurring ad hoc analyses into scalable, reusable data solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, or Software Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and analytics-ready datasets.
Production experience with Snowflake and dbt.
Experience Working With AWS, Azure, Or Other Cloud Platforms.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
