We are looking for a Security Coordinator – Internal Security Operations to join our team.
This role is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of internal security regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and optimizing security operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational oversight with analytical thinking and the ability to collaborate across departments such as HR and HSE. Location TIRANA, ALBANIA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Monitor daily security operations including guards, access control, and perimeter security.
· Report and escalate security incidents and non-compliance cases.
· Review and validate implementation of security procedures on site.
· Track performance of outsource security providers and follow up on improvements.
· Analyze security data and prepare monthly reports.
· Coordinate with HR and HSE members on security-related matters.
· Ensure proper functioning of security systems (cameras, alarms, access).
· Support and deliver training for security and related staff.
· Conduct regular checks and audits on security processes.
· Participate in meetings to address employee security concerns.
· Ensure overall compliance with internal security regulations and standards.
· Provide expert guidance to HR and HSE on security strategy and improvements.
· Oversee effectiveness of physical security measures and systems.
· Evaluate and improve security protocols, processes, and workflows.
· Ensure integration and alignment of all security systems and controls.
· Identify risks and propose preventive and corrective actions.
· Maintain security performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
· Ensure proper management of security-related incidents and employee complaints.
· Contribute to employee safety, operational continuity, and company compliance.
· Support organizational awareness and engagement on security matters.
· Ensure adaptability of security operations based on business needs (including shifts).
Skills and Qualifications
· Strong knowledge of internal security procedures and compliance standards.
· Familiarity with access control systems, surveillance, and perimeter security.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
· Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· High attention to detail in monitoring and reporting security operations.
· University degree in Security Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience required
· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in security operations, HR, HSE, or related roles.
· Experience working with security systems and external security providers is an advantage.
· English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
