Are you an experienced Security Officer looking for your next challenge within a complex IT transformation environment? We are currently supporting a leading organization in The Hague that is strengthening its cybersecurity capabilities as part of a large-scale IT transformation program.
In this role, you will act as a key security advisor across both operational and project environments. You will support teams by assessing security risks, reviewing compliance requirements, and ensuring security policies are correctly implemented throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments) and Security Intake forms
- Advise stakeholders on security-related actions and remediation plans
- Provide guidance on the application of security policies and standards
- Perform risk-based assessments for policy deviations and exceptions
- Support service managers with security requirements in new and existing IT processes
- Contribute to NIS2-related reporting and compliance activities
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and project teams on security improvements
- Identify and address security risks within ongoing transformation projects

- Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
