Role Overview:
We are looking for a System Administrator with 3-5 years of experience to manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, automate administrative tasks, and enhance operational efficiency through AI-powered tools. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of networking concepts, experienced in proxy/reverse proxy configuration, system security, scripting, and should be comfortable leveraging AI-based automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting solutions in daily activities. Additionally, experience with CI/CD pipelines, source code management, workflow orchestration, and MSSQL database maintenance is highly desirable!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu / CentOS / RHEL) environments.
- Implement system upgrades, patches, and hardware/software installations.
- Install, configure, and monitor system applications and services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Configure proxy, reverse proxy, and load balancing using HAProxy & Apache.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Manage source code repositories using Git, GitGerrit, and Bitbucket.
- Automate workflow orchestration using Ansible & Rundeck.
- Write and execute SQL queries for database management and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with Development and QA teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal users.
- Maintain clear documentation for all configurations, deployments, and incidents.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science
- Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 6 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Training Institutes,Software Company,IT Enabled Service
Additional Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience on Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL) administration.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls).
- Experience in PowerShell, Batch and Shell scripting for automation & deployment.
- Hands-on experience on configuring HAProxy, Apache reverse proxy, and load balancing.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins.
- Source code management using Git, GitGerrit, and Bitbucket.
- Workflow orchestration using Rundeck.
- Database Server maintenance like MSSQL.
- SQL knowledge (query writing, database troubleshooting).
- Programming experience in any language.
- Basic security knowledge, including firewall configurations, SSH, and system patching.
- Familiarity with Docker & containerized environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
